For the fourth consecutive year 8 students from St Aidan’s high school came for their week’s work experience to A&G.
We were particularly pleased to welcome our first female student who could possibly become our first female apprentice.
All students were rotated on a daily basis visiting work areas including 3 & 5 axis milling, CNC and 7 axis turning, inspection, and packing and despatch.
The students were assessed by their mentors against set criteria and the assessments being fed back to the school.
All students said that they had very much enjoyed their week at A&G and appreciated the opportunity to see a precision engineering company in operation.
