Students from St Aidan’s high school came on their work experience for one week in May.
They worked in five different work areas, including 3 & 5 axis milling, CNC and 7 axis turning, inspection, stores and packing and despatch.
Students were assessed by their mentors against set criteria and the assessments being fed back to the school.
All students said that they had very much enjoyed their week at A&G, and appreciated the opportunity to see a precision engineering company in operation.
