Apprentice Open Evening – December 2016

    Following on from the careers evening A&G hoisted two open evenings which allowed over 20 students and their parents to see the what A&G has to offer. They toured the manufacturing facilities and spoke with A&G staff demonstrating the equipment.

Increased Machining Capacity – July 2017

A&G Technical teams and Mazak staff commissioned two Mazak Variaxis i-700 twin pallet machines. These machines represent the latest generation MAZAK 5-axis machining centre designed for multi-surface machining delivering reduced in-process time, high accuracy and unrivalled machine ergonomics.

Work Experience – May 2017

Students from St Aidan's high school came on their work experience for one week in May.   They worked in five different work areas, including 3 & 5 axis milling, CNC and 7 axis turning, inspection, stores and packing and despatch. Completion of Workshop Extension – June 2016
